On December 2, City Council will hold a work session to review what we learned through the city’s technical analysis work, as well as what we heard from community members during public engagement, such as what places people like to visit and where they don’t feel safe when traveling.
City Council meeting agendas can be found on the Council’s Agenda & Minutes page. Agendas are posted on Thursday afternoons before each meeting. While subject to change, the December 2 City Council meeting is a hybrid meeting where the public may attend the meeting virtually or in person in Council Chambers at Beaverton City Hall.
Project Background
Go Beaverton is a project to update Beaverton’s Transportation System Plan. The city uses this plan to decide how streets, sidewalks, bike lanes, and more are built to support travel choices throughout the city.
In Fall of 2024, we asked the community and Beaverton City Council to provide feedback and direction on an updated vision for the plan. Based on this direction, the vision for Beaverton’s Transportation System is:
Access for Everyone
We all have real travel choices…
that we can count on…
that we can afford…
that we can safely enjoy…
that help people and the planet thrive…
… now and into the future.
